Services Provided

• Basic right to know training provided to all employees and chemical-specific right to know training provided to employees who work with hazardous materials in the normal course of their employment; (for online training see www.esd.uga.edu/rtkcs);
  
  
• Maintenance and distribution of material safety data sheets (MSDS);
  
  
• Consultation on the hazards associated with chemicals in UGA work areas and in the selection of personal protective equipment;
  
  
• Assembling and maintenance of the hazardous chemical list for all UGA facilities in May and December of each year;
  
  
• Liaison with the Board of Regents and the Department of Labor regarding hazardous chemical issues and right to know issues.
