The purpose of the website of UGA's Environmental Safety Division is to provide quality, relevant information in a format that is visually appealing.  Our most important customer is the University of Georgia.  If anyone on campus has any concerns with speed issues, or format that will better suit your needs, then please contact us with your recommendations.

     Many factors have to be taken into consideration with website design.  It is impossible to provide a website that translates into the same end product for every user.  There are different computers, different browsers, different versions of those browsers, different connection speeds, and different needs.  Much attention was given to this dilemma and we hope we have been able to provide you with a sufficiently balanced product.

     Our website has been designed to best accommodate 1024x768 resolution, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, and a 56K connection or better.
