 Mission Statement

It is the responsibility of the Hazardous Materials Program to provide training and service for the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials waste for the main campus of the University of Georgia.

Our mission is two-fold, first to inform and train faculty, staff and students in the proper handling of hazardous materials waste; and to maintain regulatory compliance for the cradle-to-grave tracking process of hazardous materials waste for the University of Georgia.

Our staff is here to assist researchers and their laboratory personnel and provide solutions to their inquiries.
